She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Benny Tyler and Nellie Renee Mays Brown; her children, Thomasina Garrett of Salley, SC and Thomas Garrett of Fairburn, GA; her stepsons, Celester Weaver of Aiken, SC, Larry Weaver (Jacqueline) of Hephzibah, GA and Leonard Weaver (Sharon) of California; and her stepsister Brenda Brown of Marina, CA. She was also cherished by thirteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
