She was predeceased by: her siblings, Brodus "Bo" Yon, Jr., Skip Yon, Kathy Pou (late Joe) and Jimmy Yon (Leila); her parents, Brodus Yon, Sr. and Elease Williams Yon; and her stepmother Sallie Jackson Yon.
She is survived by: her children, Brodus John and Jessie Marie Shiffner (Elbert Landy); her grandchildren, Cameron Shiffner of Shane Mays, T. K, Justin Hooker, Sean Landy and Kaleb Landy; and her siblings, Brenda Wooten, Jack Yon (Alice) and Ronald Yon.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Corinth Baptist Church at 210 Corinth Church Road Salley, SC 29137.
