With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Viola Alexander Carter (Salem, South Carolina), who passed away on October 28, 2020 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Clinton Calvin Carter; her parents, Earnest Alexander and Annie Madden Alexander; and her siblings, Jess Alexander, Ray Alexander, Arthur Alexander, Inez Sanders and Shirley Blackwell.
She is survived by: her children, Calvin Carter (Agnes) and Nancy Hudson (Roger); her grandchildren, Lindsey Rothell (Daniel), Jason Carter (Casey), Katelan Hudson and Abbey Hudson; her great grandchildren, Ella Rothell, Lily Rothell, Pressley Carter and Jack Carter; and her brother Jimmy Alexander (Jane).
Due to the current pandemic and for the safety and consideration of others, no public service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials in Viola's memory be made to Clearmont Baptist Church, 1740 Clearmont Rd., Westminster, SC 29693.
