She was predeceased by: her parents, L. D. Mauldin and Ruth Mauldin; and her former husband Guy H. Alexander. She is survived by: her husband William Wesley Bannister; her son Dewitt Alexander (Anetha); her granddaughter Brianna Coward of Salem, SC; her stepchildren, Trever Bannister of Beaufort, SC and Tonya Carroll of Barnwell, SC; and her sister Glynes Mauldin of Salem, SC. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
