She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel Elijah Winchester of Salem, SC; her parents, Lawrence Lee and Myrtle Rose Whitmire Edens; her siblings, Christine Edens Fincannon, Ethel Edens, Mary DeEtte Edens, Gladys Bagwell, Lowell D. Edens, Lawrence Bruce Edens and B. F. Edens; her grandson John Thoman Logan; and her son-in-law John Earnhart.

She is survived by: her children, Myrtle Coward (Thurman) of Salem, Jeanette Logan (Larry) of Walhalla, Mary McClure (Keith) of West Jefferson, NC, Linda Earnhart of Westminster and Eugene Winchester (Virginia) of Salem; her siblings, Essie Lee Dodson of Panama Beach, FL and Rev. Dwight Edens of Marietta, SC; and her grandchildren, Brian O'Kelley (Jessie), Kevin O'Kelley (Lorie), Crystal Fuller (John), Jennifer Kohler (Chris), Craig McClure (Holly), Scott McClure (Bobbi), Christy Reavis (John) and Ken Winchester (Amanda). She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
