It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Wyer Burgess of Salem, South Carolina, born in Homestead, Florida, who passed away on February 26, 2023, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Warren Christopher Burgess of Salem; and her parents, Charles Herman and Rosella Stanley Wyer. She is survived by: her daughters, Kayla Hamilton (Stephen) of West Union and Christi Dahl (Dan) of Salem; her siblings, Patrick Wyer (Sheila) and Cindy Alexander (late Ed) of Central; her grandchildren, Clari Dahl, Grace Hamilton, Chrisann Dahl and Zoey Hamilton; and her siblings-in-law, Teresa Barker (James) of Salem and Mark Burgess (Tricia) of Salem.
