She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Copley and Elizabeth Copley; her husband George Diamond; her son Dennis Diamond; and her siblings, Verdie and Jackie.

She is survived by: her grandson Dylan Watson; her children, Nyetta Diamond of Salem, SC, Darryl Diamond of Hatfield, KY and Sonny Diamond of Hatfield, KY; and also Freda. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
