He was predeceased by: his brother Kevin L. Potter. He is survived by: his parents, James Potter and Priscilla Brinson Potter; his wife Christina Craven Potter; his sons, Dylan W. Potter and Jacob J. "J. J."; and his brothers, Jamie Potter of Macedonia and Rodney Potter of Macedonia.
