He was predeceased by: his father Dale Barker; and his grandparents, Homer, Barbara Holden Barker, Lester and Mildred Talley Chapman.
He is survived by: his mother Diann Chapman Smith; his wife Lori Ann Smith Barker; his children, Blake Barker (Haley Moody) of Salem, Cody Barker and Ryan Barker; and his stepfather Steve Smith. He is also survived by friends, and co-workers.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Boone Creek Baptist Church Cemetery (260 Boone Creek Rd, Salem, SC 29676). A memorial service was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: Shriners Children Hospital and to Emerson Rose Heart Foundation.
