He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Foster and Zona Crunkleton Foster; his siblings, Mary Stewart, Kathleen Sisk, Floyd Samuel Foster Jr., Howell Foster, Gordon Foster, Harris Foster and Patrick Foster; and his brother-in-law Calvin P. Andrews.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Williams Foster of Salem, SC; his daughter Alison Foster; his son-in-law Alec Rosenberger; his granddaughter Adeline Rosenberger of Moore, SC; his sister-in-law Tiny Frances Andrews of Hartwell, GA.; and his pet Maxie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
