She was predeceased by: her daughter Bernadette Brown; and her brother Moses Brown, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Sonia Nelson (Walter), Brian Brown, Angela Brown and Shekere Knight (Marvin); and her sister-in-law Louise M. Brown.
