It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Dione adams (Saint Stephen, South Carolina), who passed away on June 4th 2011, at the age of 12, leaving to mourn family and friends. Gary Dione Adams, affectionately known as "Bubba", began his life's celebration on July 3, 1998 in Charleston, South Carolina. "Bubba" was an energetic, charismatic and playful young man who had a variety of interests. He recently completed his seventh grade year at St. Stephen Middle School. "Bubba" loved to play football. He was known for his tenacity and his heart. He recently played with St. Stephen Lion's Club Tigers. He also loved the church and loved to sing. He was a member of the E. J. Chorale. He played the drums and participated in a variety of activities with several local churches. He made it evident that he loved the Lord. Gary's transition from this life was preceded by his beloved grandmother, Ora Lee McClennon, an uncle, Joseph Cleveland, and his oldest brother, Anthony Adams, and his friend Adonous T Green. Left to celebrate his memories are: his mother, Hester of St. Stephen, SC; brothers, RoShaun of Charlotte, NC and Javone of St. Stephen, SC; an uncle, James (Marjorie) Cleveland of St. Stephen, SC; two aunts, Caroline Cleveland of Moncks Corner, SC and Celeste (Carl) Scott of St. Stephen, SC; a great-uncle, Rev. Melvin (Mary) McClennon; a sister-in-law, Sabrina Wright; three nieces, Destiny, Shaylin and Kaylin; two nephews, Pierre and Terry all of St. Stephen, SC; and a loving Godmother, Faith Gamble of Forty-One, SC. He also leaves a host of cousins, friends, and others who will forever cherish memories with "Bubba." "Greater love hath no man than this, That a man lay down his life for his friends." John 15:13
