He was predeceased by: his daughter Tonya Dessaure. He is survived by: his daughter Robin Dessaure Black (Eric Black); his grandson Lorenzo Dessaure McFarlane; his stepdaughter DeVicky Whitfield (Cliff); and his grandchildren, Cierra Whitfield, Princeton William Dessaure, Rose Elizabeth Dessaure and Janiylah McKinney Dessaure.
Viewing was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Gethers Funeral Chapel - St. Stephen (221 Church Rd, St Stephen, SC 29479). A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church (272 Church Rd, St Stephen, SC 29479). A burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at the Old Field Cemetery.
