He is survived by: his parents, Thomas "Tinkum" Barnette and Elizabeth Wright Barnette; his wife Karyl Keller Barnette; his daughters, Becky B. Martin and Kitty Russell Barnette; his siblings, Margaret Thornberry of St. Stephen and Thomas Barnette of Manning; and his grandchildren, Mason Allen Martin, Maria Barnette, Abbygail Elizabeth Martin, Amias Allen Barnette, Harper Jernigan and Amora Rahcell Barnette.
