He was predeceased by: his parents, Chris Schwichtenberg and Carol Sibyl Hagen Schwichtenberg; and his daughter Carolyn Schwichtenberg. He is survived by: his wife Sandra C. McGrew; his children, Chris Schwichtenberg (Laura) and Kay Henninger (Randy); and his stepchildren, Dan McGrew, David McGrew John McGrew and Dannette Elliot. He is also survived by six foster children; three grandchildren, twenty two step grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
