He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Bairefoot and Helen Peake Bairefoot; and his brothers, Rusty and Leroy Bairefoot. He is survived by: his wife Lynn S. Bairefoot; his children, Tammy Thompson (Brandon), Tina Bairefoot (Joshua Rohr), Jenafer Gurley Sund and Misti English (Phillip); his brothers, Edward Bairefoot (Martha), Jesse Bairefoot (Lois), Tommy Bairefoot (Shirley) and Leonard Bairefoot (Gail); his grandchildren, Justin Price, Audrey Price, Andrew Ferrin, Cameron Ferrin, Addison Thompson, Claire Thompson, Gabby Elliott and Gage English; and his great grandchildren, Landon Ard and Athena Gates.
