He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Bird Dewitt and Pauline Parlor Dewitt. He is survived by: his wife Linda Buyck Dewitt; his children, Brandon Buyck Dewitt of St Matthews and Rana Dewitt Smith (Michael); his brother Charles Hydrick Dewitt (Eris); and his grandchildren, Christopher (Victoria), Brianna Chandler, Jayden and Jasper Culclasure. He is also survived by Nieces and Nephews.
A graveside service will be held 3 pm, Monday at Congaree Baptist Church Cemetery, St Matthews, S. C. CDC guidelines for the COVID-19 virus and social distancing will be observed during the service. All attendees will be required to wear a mask.
