He was predeceased by: his wife Pamela G. Smith; and his brother Glenn Alan Smith. He is survived by: his children, Marion "Jackie" Jackson Smith, III (Amy), Jason Alan Smith, Sr. (Stacy) and Le'Ann Bowen (Steve). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
