It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph Richard Rochester of Saint Matthews, South Carolina, who passed away on December 12, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Nellie Mae Lockman Rochester; and his parents, Wofford Columbus Rochester and Rebecca Holden Rochester. He is survived by: his children, Joseph Richard Rochester, Jr. (Angie) of Hanahan, SC, Ashley Blaire Farnum (Wesley) of St. Matthews, SC and Gretchen R. Kaune (Ben) of Chapin, SC; and his grandchildren, Mary Fate Farnum, Tabatha Kaune, Marley Kaune, Holden Rochester and Harper Rochester. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the West End Cemetery (St Matthews, SC 29135).
