He is survived by: his parent Hettie Cassandra Henderson; his wife Bess; his daughters, Lynn Duke Sprinkle (Larry) of Columbia and Beverly Duke Herndon (Irvan) of St. Matthews; his daughter-in-law Betsy Duke of Swansea; his grandchildren, Jason Leopold (Krista), India Gregory (Richard), Joel M. Duke, III, Brantley Sprinkle, Benjamin Duke (Morgan) and Connor Sprinkle; and his great grandchildren, Reagan, Brandt, Jacob, Brian and Pearl.
