He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Henry Diamond and Katie Carter Diamond; and his brothers, Harry, Jack, Clyde and Cecil Diamond.
He is survived by: his children, Jim Carter Diamond, Jr. and Katie Coretta Diamond of St. Matthews; and his sister Almeda West (Irby) of Augusta, GA.
