He is survived by: his wife Irene Daniels Dukes; his children, George Whiteman Dukes IV (Leah) of Gilbert, SC and Genevieve Stephenson (Steve) of Newnan, GA; his stepdaughters, Bonnie Morrison of St. Matthews and Deborah Nunamaker of St. Matthews; his granddaughters, Hannah, Elizabeth Dukes, Mabel and Emma Stephenson; and his brother James Donovan Dukes of Charleston, SC..
