It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eddie Rucker of Saint Matthews, South Carolina, born in Orangeburg, South Carolina, who passed away on June 5, 2020, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Glenn Rucker and Mary Wannamaker Rucker. He is survived by: his wife Paula Porter Rucker; his grandchildren, Kallen Adams (Kayla) of Walterboro and Hope Taylynn Williams (Heather) of Columbia; his brothers, Ronnie Rucker (Pamela Irick) of St. Matthews and Tony Rucker (Sherrie Jones) of Elloree; his nephew Jason Rucker (Alec Bruner) of West Columbia; his niece Kelli Rucker of Cameron; his parents-in-law, Herbert and Reba J. Porter of Orangeburg; his siblings-in-law, Margaret Porter of Orangeburg, Tammy Walker of Orangeburg and Thomas Porter of Orangeburg; and his nephews, Brett E. Walker and Herbert R. Porter of Orangeburg. He is also survived by loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
