It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deryl Burnette (Saint Matthews, South Carolina), born in Georgetown, South Carolina, who passed away on July 4, 2019, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Jesse Eugene Burnette and Mary Hardwick Burnette; his stepdaughter Alisha Davis of St. Matthews; and his siblings, Tracy B. Groth (John) of Dandridge, TN, Joey D. Burnette (Dawn) of Orangeburg and Howard W. Burnette (Stephanie) of St. Matthews. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
