He was predeceased by: his parents, Cloyce Bozard and Inez Bozard (Rucker); and his brother Delano Bozard. He is survived by: his wife Esther Marie Hanberry; his children, Christine Flanagan (Jonathan), Tammy Chulick (Michael) and Emmett Bozard (Joyce); his grandchildren, Jessica, Alexander Chulick, Kimberly, Charlie and Austin Bozard; his siblings, Lee Bozard (Catherine), Ronnie Bozard (Diane), Jane Doster and Sandra Crider (Leonard); and his sister-in-law Judy Bozard.
To honor Charles' giving spirit, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Connie Maxwell Children's Home, 3105 Five Chop Road, Orangeburg, SC 29115.
