She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathaniel Benjamin and Evangeline Benjamin (Shing); her husband Leroy Ravenell; and her siblings, Corine Robinson, Nathaniel Benjamin, Martha Glover, Kenneth Benjamin, Eva Mae Shivers, Lloyd Benjamin Sr. and George Benjamin.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Benjamin-Hannah of Charlotte, NC, Yoronica Benjamin of St. Matthews, SC, Pamela Benjamin of Greenville, SC, Major Quentin F. Benjamin (Varncille) of Elgin, SC, Takiyah Benjamin of St. Matthews, SC, Natalie Blanchard (Dwayne) of Lugoff, SC, Douglas Benjamin (Altovise) of Orangeburg, SC. and Deaconess Ravenell; and her grandchildren, Kanvas and Douglas Benjamin (Deaconess Ravenell). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family.
