We are sad to announce that on February 19, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Richard Gay of Saint Helena Island, South Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Gay and Hilda Smith Gay; and his brothers, John Gay, Jr. and William Gay. He is survived by: his daughters, April G. Malphrus (Rodney), Veronica L. Martini (Bill), Bonnie G. Mathis (Bo), Michelle L. Reed and Colleen G. Donohew (Bill); his siblings, Charles Gay (Faye), Robert Gay and Hilda Upton; and his sister-in-law Claudia Gay.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Red Dam Baptist Church (488 Red Dam Church Rd, Hardeeville, SC 29927). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
The family request donations be made to Vaigneur Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses. Please consider making a donation to raise much needed funds to cover the funeral expenses.
