He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Catherine Hughes Wimberly; his sister Sherry Annie Wimberly; his children, Chelsea Wimberly Fender (Grande), Aynsley Camille Honeycutt (Zachary), Christopher Wayne Wimberly (Janice) and Bradley James Wimberly (Victoria); his grandchildren, Rose Alexandria Wimberly, Lucius Edwin Wimberly, Kinley Grace Wimberly, Kaylie Olivia Wimberly and Leila Kait Fender; and his father Terry "Teddy" Wayne Wimberly.
