She was predeceased by: her parents, Blanch Bingley and Freddie Utsey; her significant other Roland Daniels; and her siblings, Gwendolyn Cusack, Robin Utsey, Wayne Utsey and Cynthina Utsey.
She is survived by: her daughter Lavita Shaunte Utsey; her grandchildren, Diwieja Utsey, Markeis Parson, Markaya Parson, Dakari Green and Jasura Simmons; and her brothers, Freddie Utsey (Gene), Kirk Utsey of Grover, SC and Jarvis Utsey (Margette) of Greenville, SC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
