She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Barton and Mary Willingham Barton; her son Clay Harold; her husband Harris Lemon; and her siblings, Eloise Martino, Florie Edwards and William Barton.
She is survived by: her son Patrick Lemon of St. George, SC; her grandchildren, Roxanne Lemon, Roya Lemon and William Knox of Philadelphia, PA; her great grandchildren, Matilda Lemon and Little Ryan Lemon; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara White (Frank) of St. George, SC, Marvie Brown of Harleyville, SC, Ruby Pooser of Grover, SC and Annie Dozier (Artis) of Brooklyn, NY. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stevens Funeral Home (107 S Parler Ave, St George, SC 29477). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the New Grace United Methodist Church (1358 Quaker Rd, St George, SC 29477).
