We are sad to announce that on March 21, 2025, at the age of 82, Preston Herbert Simons Jr. of Saint George, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Preston Herbert may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston Herbert Simons, Sr. and Annie Ruth Fender Simons. He is survived by: his wife Sherrill Diane H. Simons; his children, Preston H. "Sonny" Simons (Teresa) and Jennifer Diane Simons (Jamie Barrette); his grandson Riker Preston Simons; his nephew Danny Simons; and his sister Eva Ruth "Glory" Baltzegar.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home (607 N Parler Ave, St George, SC 29477). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
