He is survived by: his children, Richard Simmons, Darrell Ravenell (Tammy), Rickey Simmons, Rosetter Simmons and Marina Simmons; his grandchildren, Lamar Simmons, Brandon Ravenell, Zaunce Simmons, Quadrey Simmons, Iveoatae Livingston, Bryce Ravenell, Brittany Ravenell, Zanyah Simmons and Jaiden Simmons; his great grandchildren, Kaylee Simmons, Skylar Simmons, Londyn Livingston and Kario Livingston; his siblings, Ben Stevens, Jr., Annie Lee Dereef (Tommy), Clarence Simmons (Clayrene), Carl Simmons (Gladys Ele'), Johnnie C. Simmons, Carolyn Butler, Dianna Jackson (Percy), Gloria Myers (Anthony), Lettie Ann Williams (Nathaniel), Leaundra Simmons and Wendell Simmons; his uncles, Roy Simmons, Allen Simmons (Marie) and Adolph Simmons; and his close friend Margaret Westbury. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
