It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Jay Clark of Saint George, South Carolina, born in Summerville, South Carolina, who passed away on August 7, 2020, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny M. Clark III and Patricia Kight Clark of Summerville; his sister Sharon Clark Patton; his niece Kimberly D. Patton; and his grandparents, Annie Smoak Karick, Eckford and Margaret T. Kight.
He is survived by: his children, Brittany Bouknight (Jonathan) of Goldsboro, NC, Theresa "Terrie" McKnight (Brett Strickland) of Summerville and CJ Clark (Kodie) of Moncks Corner; his grandchildren, John Bouknight, Adrian Clark, Hunter, Kenley McKnight and Kelsey Strickland; his brother John M. Clark IV of Summerville; and his adoptive father Joe Smoak of Warner Robins, GA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
