Lynette Crook Hartzog Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lynette Crook Hartzog of Saint George, South Carolina, who passed away on February 20, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Behling Hartzog, Sr.; her parents, Earl Crook and Katie Belle Ackerman Crook; her son Stephen Russell Hartzog; and her siblings, Rev. Joseph E. Crook, Rev. Everette D. Crook, Dr. Lynn Crook and Eleanor Eunice Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Edward Hartzog (Gilda) and Karen Neil (Dwight); her grandchildren, Earl Hartzog (Cadra), Sam Hartzog (Kim), Rebecca Wade (Trey), Jack Neil (Kristen) and Grace Crisp (Jacob); her great grandchildren, Boone, Banks Hartzog, Lathan, Barrett Hartzog, Dallas, Sawyer, Maddox, Zadie Wade, Hank, Emma, Lyla, Anna Neil and Katherine Crisp; and her friend Spanky Ammons.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church (114 Baptist Rd, St George, SC 29477). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
