He is survived by: his wife Margie Ravenell; his sons, John, Carl (Joyce), Victor and Wayne; his adoptive daughters, Helen Asbury and Sheree'Ladson; his grandchildren, Katrina Ladson, Sheketa Gardner, Dr. Leticia Sellers, Sineice Ladson, DeWayne Ladson, Jaquawna Ladson, Jonathan Ladson, Asia Ladson, Dominique Ladson and Bella Rosebud Ladson; his siblings-in-law, James Frazier of Maryland, Robert Ravenell of North Carolina, Margaret Hallman of Summerville, SC and Barbara Ladson of Spartanburg, SC; his nephews, John Clayton Ladson and Bernard Cummings; his caregiver Sandra Gardner; and his close friend Julius Grayton. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
