He was predeceased by: his mother Joyce Shieder Wimberly; and his grandparents, Hubert Shieder, Jefferson Davis Wimberly, Jr., Lyle and Catherine Rochelle.

He is survived by: his spouse Shannon Wimberly; his children, Jefferson Davis Wimberly V and Harper Elizabeth Wimberly; his father David Wimberly; his grandmother Eunice Shieder; his parents-in-law, Michael of St. George and Sharon Thornall of St. George; his brother Lance; his sister-in-law Carissa Thornall; and his nieces, Kaiya and Hailey of Ridgefield, Washington. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorials may be made to First Citizens Bank, in care of Davis and Harper Wimberly Savings Account, 129 North Parler Avenue, St. George, SC 29477.
