She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin C. Singletary and Mary Lee Miller Singletary; her grandson Aodhan J. Salley (Jawyiah); and her sisters, Barbara A. Singletary (Grover) and Michelle Singletary (Grover).
She is survived by: her children, Lemel Salley, Jawyiah Salley of Columbia, SC and Paris Polite of Walterboro, SC; her grandchildren, Ashlyn H. (Jawyiah) of Washington and Journi A. Williams (Paris); and her siblings, Debra Singletary (Washington DC), James Singletary of St. George, SC, Geraldine Goff of Summerville, SC and Tyona Singletary of St. George, SC. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
