He is survived by: his children, Richard Johnston (Nicole) of Colorado Springs, CO, Julie Sosa (Geovany) of New York, NY and Harriet Johnston (Brian) of Greenville; his stepchild Claire Eckert (Chris) of Columbia; his grandchildren, William, Izzy Johnson, Johnathan, Frances, Michael, Samuel Eckert, Legare, Liam and Holmes McGregor; and his brothers, Johnny and Kirk.
