He was predeceased by: his parents, John Carson and Frances Marie Fagan Neal; and his son Jerry Don Neal. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Walsh Neal; his children, Charles Allen Smith, Jr. (Eunice "Plum"), Evelyn Renay Robinson and Ramie-Kay Darnell; his grandchildren, Shawn Smith, Jamie Merritt (Trapper), Selena Merritt (John), Fallon Merritt (Donald), Charles Smith III, Teri Darnell, Wade Darnell and Belen Neal; and his brother John Thomas Neal.
Due to Covid-19, no services will be held.
