She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Lee Mellard and Janie Bell Jackson Mellard; and her brother Herman W. Mellard. She is survived by: her sons, Michael Jeremy Brownlee and Brian Haskel Fralix; her grandson Cameron Michael Brownlee; her caregiver Gene Brownlee; and her siblings, Carol Atkins of Lenoir, NC, Barbara Louise Infinger (Rickey), Ruby Dorita Clark (Hozea) and Kenneth Lee Mellard (JoAnn). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
