He is survived by: his son Edwin Monteze Boyd, Jr.; his siblings, Elder Travis Boyd (April) of St. George, SC and Kimberley Jones (Garrick) of El Pasco, TX; his nieces and nephews, Garrick Edwin Jones, Elijah James Boyd, Aumoni Stanton, Aumari Stanton and Aumya Stanton; his aunts and uncles, Lou Ellen Boyd, Patty Boyd, Carolyn Rhames, Elizabeth Felder (Andrew), Joann Johnson (Johnnie), Jacqueline R. Smalls, Claireen Singletary (Alfred), George Felder (Annie), Esau Rhames (Mary), Oliver Wright, Herman Rhames, Alvin Rhames and Kenneth Gaddist; and his close friend Monique Simmons. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
