With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Beatrice Dempsey McClure of Saint George, South Carolina, born in Early Branch, South Carolina, who passed away on April 23, 2023 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest H. McClure; her grandchildren, Dwayne Pendarvis, Nicholus Sanford and Baby Russ; and her siblings, Dorothy Benton, Ruby Buehner, George Dempsey and Jack Dempsey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Wanda S. Ahl (Gene) and Bonnie M. Sanford (Matt); her grandchildren, James Kirkland (Kezia), William Kirkland (Kim), Ashley Russ (Eddie), Christy Sanford and Matthew Sanford, Jr. (Aundrea); her great grandchildren, Jamie Kirkland (Hunter), Kasie Fanning, Heather Fanning, Adam Kirkland, Trinity Davis, Zachary Davis, Justin Heath, Caitlyn Kirkland, Ian Kirkland, Mackinse Kittrell, Zoee Sanford, Lillie Davis, Shellie Sanford and Mitchell Sanford; her great great grandchild Maddison Kirkland; and also, James Irvin Shuman and Adeal Mixson.
