He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Henry Barnette and Julia Mimcey Mills Barnette; his son Tommy Barnette; and his siblings, Lois DuBose, Sophie Crawford, Catherine Crawford, John Dutart and Furman Barnette.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice; his sons, Michael Barnette (Linda) of Russellville, Mark Barnette (Wendy) of Russellville, Perry Barnette (Pam) of Russellville and Kevin Barnette (Donna) of Moncks Corner; and his grandchildren, Layne Barnette, Thomas Barnette, Stacey Dupree, Lisa Smith, Josh Barnette and Kevin Wadford. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
