He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Livingston Levi Crawford and Vermel Mills Crawford Binnar; his brother Jimmy L. Crawford; his wife Patricia "Pat" Poole Crawford; his sons, Gene Crawford, II (Sarah) of Columbia and Clayton Livingston Crawford (Amber) of St. Stephen; his sister Donna Cumbee (Billy) of Shulerville; and his grandchildren, Thomas, Erik and Jackson. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society; 5900 Core Road, Suite 504, North Charleston, SC 29406, or that blood be donated to the American Red Cross in his memory.
