He is survived by: his wife Anne Kinard Padgett; his children, Russ Padgett (Stephanie) of Ruffin, Ian Padgett of Walterboro and Lacrisa "Cris" Hudson (Fearis) of Columbia; his siblings, Gwen Bunton (Terry) of Walterboro, Dell Murdaugh (Michael) of Smoaks, Norma Patrick of Columbia, Annette Henderson of Aiken and David Quattlebaum (Ann) of Aiken; his stepmother Alice Padgett Maybin; his grandchildren, Brittney Bagley (Paul), Christopher Padgett (Brittnay), Joseph Padgett (Shawna), Mason Padgett (Caitlin), Gavin Padgett, River Padgett, Tate Garrick and Logan Garrick; his great grandchildren, Weston Bagley, Adaline Bagley, Owen Padgett, Porter Padgett, Jaxson McCollum and Annalee Padgett; his close friend Raymond Beach; and his caregiver Kendall Smith.
