He was predeceased by: his parents, Augustus Ulmer Hudson and Lenora Smyly Hudson Keegan; and his brother Larry L. Hudson. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Brazell Hudson of Ruffin; his sons, Kammeron Hudson (Michelle) of Ruffin and Michael Hudson (Emma) of Franklin; his grandchildren, Ashley, Spencer, Alexis, Connor and Riley; and his sister-in-law Lynn Thomas Hudson of Ruffin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the charity of one's choice.
