She was predeceased by: her spouse Ellis Lloyd Smith; her parents, Harvey Nettles and Bertha Bunton Nettles; her daughter Jenny Smith; and her brother Ashley Nettles.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy Prince (Charlene) of Newberry, David Padgett of Hampton, Amy Davis of Goose Creek and Jimmy Nettles of Ruffin; and her brother Albert Sherry Nettles of Summerville. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
