He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Gary Ulmer and Bridie Breland Ulmer; his former wife Ruby G. Ulmer; his great grandchild Annie Lyn Priester; and his siblings, Gary Ulmer, Paul Ulmer and Claire Ulmer Weeks.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Priester Ulmer; his daughters, Cornelia Ulmer Mills of Allendale and Wanda Ulmer Hiers of Allendale; his stepchildren, Bob Buchanan (Wendy) of Hampton and Shelia Lowery of Anderson; and his siblings, George Ulmer of Brunson, Keith Ulmer of Ruffin, Terry Ulmer (Mary) of Hampton and Gay Nettles of Ruffin. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, and 1 step-great-grandchild.
