He is survived by: his children, Jody Hawkins of Ruffin and Dawn Griffin (Shannon) of Summerville; his grandchildren, Walter Brandon Hawkins of Maine and Savannah Griffin of Summerville; and his friends, Denna Parnell and Todd Land.
