He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Chaplin Breland, Sr. and Viola Bishop Breland; his children, Lonnie Chaplin Breland, III and Sharon Patricia Breland; and his siblings, Eugene Breland, Maude Crosby, Helen Ulmer, Marshall Breland and Billy Breland.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Stanfield Breland of Ruffin; his grandchildren, Lonnie Chaplin Breland, IV of Madeira Beach, Lance C. Breland (Samantha) of San Antonio and Krystal N. Breland-Seaman (Will) of San Antonio, Texas; his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Wytten, Carrson, Paisley and Kyleigh; his brother Homer K. Breland of San Antonio, Texas; and his adoptive sons, Dan Jones of San Antonio and Rick Thomas of New Braunfels, Texas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
